The Cashier will handle daily cash transactions, process various payment methods, manage cash drawers, and ensure a smooth checkout experience for customers.
Requirements
- BA Degree or Level IV qualification in Accounting and Finance
- Minimum 1 year experience for BA or 2 years for Level IV
- Ability to use Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to process cash, credit, debit, and digital payments
Duties
- Handle daily cash transactions and payment processing
- Accurately scan items using POS system
- Process various payment methods including cards and mobile wallets
- Provide proper change for cash transactions
- Manage cash drawers and count at start/end of shifts
- Reconcile daily totals and report discrepancies
- Maintain a smooth checkout experience for customers
