An experienced HR professional to lead workforce management and operations within the mining or construction industries across multiple project sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or Law
- Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience
- Managerial experience required
- Experience in mining, construction, or engineering sectors
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor legislation
- Fluent English (C1 level)
- Willingness to work on-site under a rotational schedule
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning
- Manage site HR operations and employee relations
- Oversee rotational work schedules and attendance
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor and tax laws
- Oversee expatriate work permits and visas
- Implement performance management and development initiatives
- Collaborate with HSE teams on employee welfare
- Prepare HR reports and workforce insights
