The Senior Program Lead provides strategic leadership and manages a $3.2M multi-sector emergency consortium program in the Wag Himra Zone.
Requirements
- Master’s in Humanitarian Studies, Dev Studies, or Project Management
- 10+ years experience in humanitarian programs
- Minimum 6 years in senior management roles
- Proven experience leading multi-sector emergency consortia
Duties
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for the humanitarian program
- Oversee program planning, implementation, and evaluation for quality delivery
- Lead area-level needs assessments and service mapping for response strategy
- Manage consortium governance, including steering committee and partner platforms
- Ensure partner compliance with agreements, workplans, and donor obligations
- Act as main budget holder for the $3.2M project budget
- Lead coordination across ECHO-funded investments and stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with local authorities and community leaders
- Represent the program at national-level coordination and advocacy meetings
- Ensure integration of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning
