Requirements
- Master's with 9 years experience or PhD with 2 years experience
- Degree in Geography, Hydrology, Remote Sensing, or related
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Experience with Google Earth Engine
- Strong record in peer-reviewed publications
Duties
- Apply remote sensing, hydrological and spatial food-systems modelling
- Design spatial machine learning and deep learning tools for trade-off analysis
- Downscale national FABLE pathways to regional and zonal maps
- Build interactive dashboards for policymakers and stakeholders
- Process and analyze multi-temporal satellite imagery in Google Earth Engine
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Support resource mobilization efforts
- Identify landscapes for agroecological practice co-benefits
- Liaison with national and international partners
- Support sustainable land management and restoration interventions
